1978 - 1981 Firebird Tilt Steering Column, OE Style Original GM Rebuilt
Original style GM rebuilt tilt steering column for your Firebird or Trans Am. This column will be restored to show quality and come ready to install. Adding an OE style tilt column to your car will bring authenticity and value. If you need more room to get in and out, this is the answer!! Comes pre-painted black just like factory units. Turn signal lever, tilt lever, and keyed ignition lock are not included. Excellent quality column that is ready to go!
*Note ~ The firewall mounting plate will be bent slightly for shipping purposes. Gently bend back to shape when installing.

Please double check your steering column shaft. This is the shaft that goes from your steering column to the steering box. Many cars have had column swaps over the years. This column will only work with steering shafts that have a bolt that goes through the lower column shaft.
