1970 - 1976 Firebird and Trans Am Floor Shift Tilt Steering Column Assembly, OE Factory Style
Original style GM rebuilt tilt steering column for your Firebird or Trans Am. Works great for all 70 - 76 models with a floor shifter. This column will be restored to show quality and come ready to install. Adding an OE style tilt column to your car will bring authenticity and value. If you need more room to get in and out, this is the answer!! Comes pre-painted Black just like factory units. Turn signal lever, tilt lever, and keyed ignition lock are not included. This column has the correct 3 5/8 inch column harness where it connects with your under dash wiring. Excellent quality column that is ready to go!
*Note ~ The firewall mounting plate will be bent slightly for shipping purposes. Gently bend back to shape when installing.
*Note ~ Some 1976 cars have a 13 pin steering column wiring harness connector. Please double check your wiring as this column will have an 11 pin harness connector.
*Please double check your steering column shaft. This is the shaft that goes from your steering column to the steering gear box. Over the years many cars have had column swaps. This column will only work with steering shafts that have a spline mount and outside securing bolt.
