This is a nut and bolt frame off restored 71 TA 455 HO 4spd car. #'s matching California built and rust free original panel car!
Trans Am restoration is our specialty at Restore a Muscle Car, along with several other makes and models. We are located out of Lincoln, NE and are the originators of the Bandit Run event, that we hold each year. A restoration of this caliber cannot be performed for less than $100k. This is an opportunity to own a 1 of 885 manual 1971 Trans Ams and even less in the rare white color with blue interior produced.
We recently finished the restoration on this Trans Am. It has been performance tuned and dynoed locally, along with a 4 wheel alignment. It has less than 100 miles driven since completion and is ready to be delivered. This is a great opportunity to invest in a car that will only increase in value!
All the numbers on this car have been verified and the history of the car is completely traced back to being build during the gm strike of 1971. The previous two owners know all the history on this car for over 20+ combined years. Feel free to contact us about any questions. All date codes, authentication letters, etc. all match and are correct for the build date on this car!

Brewster Green on Saddle TA. It is numbers matching throughout. Everything on this car has been restored with great care taken. It was rotisserie restored and is flawless top and bottom. All of the parts on the engine are correct including the numbers matching block, heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, unitized distributor and carburetor.
-The original 7043262 carb was sent to Jim Mcgowan and was restored to factory condition. -The 1112203 unitized distributor was restored and runs perfect. new wires were found to run this unit but are not date coded correct. The automatic transmission is original and has been rebuilt. It was bead blasted and satin cleared to give it the as cast look. The rear differential is also original and restored with all new bearings and seals. UNDERCARRIAGE: A lot of time was dedicated to the undercarriage of this car. The factor primer was color matched and redone and overspray was put on the correct places. As you can see it is highly detailed with all the markings and tags that it should have. All the chassis and suspension pieces were either painted or plated in the right colors. The car has a reproduction Gardner Exhaust System which is as original with all the correct hardware and brackets. The tail pipes are NOS pieces. EXTERIOR: The body on this car is beautiful and straight. It has been done in the factory Brewster Green color in basecoat/clearcoat and has been color sanded and buffed. It has all the correct items that you should see on a 73 bird including the plastic front valance, amber turn signals, front bumper and grills, larger rear bumper brackets, etc..... INTERIOR: The saddle interior has been re-done and the interior parts re-dyed back to their correct unfaded color. The original seat belts are in good shape and still have the date codes on them. The floor mats are correct appearing GM pieces. The gauges are in great shape and are not faded. The original dash bezel was cleaned up and looks as new. The AM/FM red dot radio works perfectly as it feeds the correct front and single rear speakers. The original 8-track players was restored and works amazing as well. Included with the car is the original 73 Demo 8-track used in dealerships. TRUNK:
Space saver tire with full inflator bottle and original jack, lug wrench and base. TIRES AND RIMS: New F-60 Firestone wide ovals sit on factory honeycomb rims with NOS trim rings and center caps. The honeycombs are painted in the correct color and have the right texture. LITERATURE: The car is accompanied with PHS documents verifying the car. They also have the original style window stickers for the car. I have the original owners manual as well as the Fisher body manual and 73 Pontiac Service manual. An original 73 8-track demo tape is also included and in perfect shape in its case. I have played this on the 73's 8-track player and it works great. |
